The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) has been a partner of India for more than fifty years. Since 2011, SDC’s programme focuses specifically on the issue of climate change. The programme is a part of SDC’s Global Programme Climate Change (GPCC), which actively engages in multilateral climate change policy processes, supports innovative climate change and mitigation projects in targeted partner countries and facilitates the generation and dissemination of knowledge.

ICLEI South Asia – the South Asian arm of ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, aims to build and serve a regional network of local governments to achieve tangible improvements in regional and global sustainability through local initiatives. It offers a wide range of technical services to help local governments achieve their sustainable development goals; customized and specific methodologies and tools are designed to support planning and implementation of actions related to environmental resource management and other allied fields.

For more than a decade, South Pole has worked with a wide range of public, private and civil sector organizations to accelerate the transition to a climate-smart society. The company’s expertise covers project and technology finance, data and advisory on sustainability risks and opportunities, as well as the development of environmental commodities such as carbon and renewable energy credits. Knowledge Partner

IIFCL is a wholly-owned Government of India company set up in 2006 to provide long-term financial assistance to viable infrastructure projects through the Scheme for Financing Viable Infrastructure Projects through a Special Purpose Vehicle called India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL).
